Lydia Toso is a graduate of Hollins College (B.A. 1971), Virginia Tech (M.A. 1973), and Tulane University College of Law (J.D. 1981). She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the Louisiana Hospital Association. Lydia’s practice focuses on medical malpractice defense, premises liability, and automobile liability. Lydia represents a wide variety of health care providers including hospitals, long term care facilities, nurses, emergency room physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists, mental health practitioners, and emergency medical services.
Lydia’s practice further includes judicial commitments and interdictions.
Lydia is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She has been a resident of New Orleans since 1977, and recently moved to Covington with her husband to be closer to family. She serves on several community boards. In her free time, she enjoys genealogy, gardening, and exercising with her greyhound, Ellie.
